Steering column seems loose after repairing ignition

Actually a 1986 Bonneville. How do I loosen and reinstall the steering column? After I repaired the ignition switch, it seemed a little loose.

there are 4 mounting bolts from the bottom that are 15mm. if they are tight, you may be talking about the tilt system. it is common for these bolts to lossen up and requires extensive disassembly to access the bolts. i suggest you let a shop do it for you.
