if the starter motor is not cranking the engine over to start the engine, then what happens when you try and jump start it from another vehicle?

I jumpstarted but no response. I bought a new battery, still no response. I found out that it killed the battery when left connected to the terminals. The anti-theft
security light is not functioning. The horn is ceased. The doors lock bottom on the key works but the horn - beep alert when locked didn't work. Please what can I do. Thanks.

1st,test all fuses with a test light, takes less than 10 minutes,if all fuses test good, then get a helper to try and crank the vehicle(key in cranking position) while you check for signal/voltage on the small wire on the starter solenoid with a volt meter. it's possible you have a parasitic battery drain,if at any time the battery cables were not connected backwards, could also be a security problem!
