Stalling I think

(1991 Jeep Wrangler)
When down shifting or going into turns my jeep sometimes shuts off. It restarts with no problem. I also have to pump the accelerator a bit when starting it cold.

Have a qualified technician check and clean your engines throttle body. The combustion by-products deposit an oily residue called "coking" on the throttle plates and throttle body bore. Over a period of time this 'coking" blocks air flow past the throttle plate when the throttle is closed. The IAC (Idle Air Control) motor cannot compensate for this and the engine stalls.
