Spongy clutch, car not moving when engine is on.

(2005 Toyota Corolla)
in Pittsburg, CA on June 14, 2010
This is a 100K plus mileage car, I was driving it, suddenly stopped moving, I have to push it off the road. The engine start as normal and keeps running as normal, but when I change gears the car does not move. Clutch is very loose and when I pressed it I can touch the carpet.

I had the same issue, you would need to get the clutch kit replaced or serviced, besides when I moved it into 1 st gear, the car wont move
