Slow oil leak on 1999 buick park avenue

(1999 Buick Park Avenue)
I would like to know the possible problem with a slow oil leak on a 1999 buick park avenue? And possibly an estimation of cost. I'm looking to buy a used one and the owner stated that it has a slow oil leak, but never loses enough to add, between oil changes.

Thank you,

Kim

You need to know where the oil is leaking in order to know what needs fixing. these cars typically leak form the engine oil pan, the front crank seal, the rear crank seal and the valve covers. Does it drip on the ground? If not, maybe it's not worth fixing.
