(1990 Chevrolet Camaro)
in Chino Hills, CA on May 26, 2011
I have a 1989 Chevy Camaro with a broken tranny shift cable (auto). Does anyone know how it can be replaced and how difficult is it to do at home. Thanks

It is a time consuming job, you will have to remove the center console, but other that that it is not really that hard. Adjust the cable when the transmission is in drive, because there is detent for drive, meaning it locks in place.
