Sensors!!

(1990 Ford F-150)
to be clear i have a 1987 Ford F-150. i was told that the truck stopped working after hitting a few bumps one day. i was also told that the truck has 4 sensors and its one of the sensors that is out. without dragging it to a mechanic and hooking it up to a computer how can i tell what sensor is bad and where do i look. please describe as well as possible

after a bump?? there is an inertia switch for the fuel pump that can trip and shut off the fuel pump. it is on the right kick panel on the passenger side. it is behind the cover and the button should be down. if you push it down and it clicks, then it was tripped.
by the way, there are many more than 4 sensors in your truck. if the switch is ok. you need help from a shop.
