changed my battery radio showing radio code if i push the volume knob in and the band button in radio works but keeps changing speakers
There is an oil leak that's saturating serpentine belt with oil and causing it to slip off. I had oil pan and timing cover gaskets replaced, but problem persists.
Does anyone think ACPro would work for this?
My car will start if I pour gas into the carb or intake checked fuel pump by removing the lines . It squirted gas out so now I want to check fuel filter .am I on the right track I don't know we're it is located.
I was told they needed to be 'fixed' before winter. However, if I can fix the problem sooner and on my own, I'd love too. When I'm driving, I'll be going fifty, and the light will change to yellow, and I'll know instinctively I'm far enough back I should stop. But the brakes are bad enough that if I did attempt to brake I would end up in the intersection. So I'm taking a lot of risks with going through yellows. I'm wondering how I can fix this problem on my own and not have to pay a fortune to take it back in to the 'foreign car repair shop'. Thanks!

Where is the fuel pump valve located?
Mechanic wants to remove head gasket to repair which is very expensive. Anyone else have this problem? I read the turbos heat up causing the gasket to dry out. Can I use an additive instead?
Car ran fine before the tow. just picked it up off my sister in law. After about a 45 min tow it wont start. i replaced the cps and it started up fine for about 5 mins then shut off. Fuel pump doesnt sound like its turning on. Car sat for about 6 months with 3/4 tank of gas. could be waterdown gas or clogged fuel filter. Any ideas to test this by yourself?
this is the 2nd trans..first was in NJ where I did live back in aug 2012 and i drove 3000 miles and poof it was doing theh same thing, I had to wait to get money to fix it as the trans shop screwed me on the warrenty, so I put it in a trans shop in CA where I am now and the same thing. the guy tried first to clean out valve body, which was found to be sludged. he cleaned it and he said it was ok for a bit, then did the same thing, so we just did a rebuild, where the same thing happened. I am thinking maybe speed control???? any idea's?
my trans was first jumping into gear asi put it in first. then i had the trans rebuild and lost 1sr and reverse. had that fixed. drove 3000 miles and 1st 2nd ad 3rd were slipping. had it rebuilt. same thing slipping in all gears and sometimes nothing. but when i shut car off and turned on it seemed to have went away untill i drove little ways. this is driving me nuts, any info much needed...e mail itsjoey2@yahoo.com
my engine idles high while stopped in gear and slows in neutral, how do i know if my mounts need replacing
