Have replaced coil, distributor, igniter and engine control module.
After engine cools down it will start right back up.
Totally confused!
Can anyone help? Any ideas?

You say you replaced the dist and the coil?? Why didn't you install a new 'complete' distributor that includes the coil?? New crank sensor? Any codes?

Maybe try to scan the engine data when fault occurs, possible crankshaft sensor, but needs to be verified with scan data.

You can go to Autozone they can diagnose your vehicle for free, to see if there are any codes but it sounds like a crankshaft sensor problem, could also be your fuel pump or fuel pump relay.

They can pull codes, they do not and cannot perform diagnostics at the level this poster requires.
