Reverse lights

i recently changed my transmission from a e4od to a aod. im trying to get my reverse lights to work and there are two harnesses that were used when the e4od was hooked up i have a jumper wire in one to make the truck start. what would i do to fix my reverse lights all the fuses are ok and the bulbs.

you will need the wiring diagrapm for both switches and needs to be re wired for the aod switch. not easy if you have never done it before. a shop with the expierence would be my suggestion.

I have been told that all i have to do is put the truck in reverse with the key on and the e-brake set. take a test light and find out which terminals are hot. on the harness that i have a jumper wire in so that the truck will crank with the key in park or neutral. i have one terminal that is hot and on the other terminal i have 2 terminals that are hot. all i should have to do is test them until the lights come on right? that's way to much hassle to rewire the entire wiring harness especially on this old of a truck
