Replacing Bad 2 mini catalytic converters (not the main one)

(1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee)
Sensors indicate that--not the main, but one of the 2 mini catalytic converters have failed and have priced the two mini catalytic converters, they come together as an assembly. Can I do this myself, and if so where do I get good instructions? Or what do I look for or ask when getting estimates?

unless you have a lift and a welding torch, exhaust work is better left to professionals. suggest getting a reputable local shop (not the cheapest) to double check this and give you an estimate. be wary of aftermarket cats;
they may not work.
