Replaced fuel pump and filter and gas gauge still doesn't work ?

Did the scan test of the instrument cluster reveal that the problem was indeed in the pump module? .. Also did the same scan test show the guage to be working ok?.. These items were tested, right?

did you install the assembly exactly as the old one came out?sender/float arm in same exact place as the old one?

if it's got a digital odometer,then push it in and hold it in,turn key to on,NOT START.when you turn key to on,let go of the odometer button and tests will begin.all the gauges should sweep.you can push the button to forward through all the tests.once you turn the key back off,all returns to normal.

OK we did all steps exactly like you stated and the Odom only switches between the miles and the trip, no test but my gauge does work just not properly.
