Replace wiper motor

(2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK500)
in Tacoma, WA on November 23, 2009
How do you replace the wiper motor on this car. I either have a fuse to replace or the motor. Can you give me instruction on how to do this. I am a novice and have only replaced light bulbs and wipers. Thanks

Customer Concern: Wipers stopped working during service.
Tests/Procedures: 1. Close hood.

2. If wipers still do not work inspect hood latch switch at left hood latch.

3. If latch is correct, further scan tool testing will be needed.
Potential Causes: Open Hood
Hood Latch

Tech Tips: As a safety option the wipers will not operate with an open hood.
