Replace glass on 4 side windows and rear window

(1995 Buick Century)
in Albertville, AL on May 23, 2011
A tornado blew out all but windshield glass. Also, it put a huge dent in side of car. I am trying to find out if the repairs will cost more than the actual car at this point.

Oh my. First, I think I speak for all of us on here in extending best wishes to you and your neighbors who have certainly experienced a whole lot lately. Victims of these tragedies are frequently on our minds.

To the car: I would advise you to obtain estimates from local body shops who are in the best position to evaluate your damage and provide a repair quote. Once you have a few quotes, you can decide which one(s) make sense.

The decision to repair the car or not is based off of many factors. For example - the repairs may cost more than you want to spend, but still may be cheaper than replacing the car (having new payments, etc etc)... Also, you know what you are dealing with since you've owned the car.

Hope this helps - again, best to you and everyone who has experienced this extreme weather.
