They fixed what I asked them to fix. They also recommend some repairs they felt my car needed, but they didn't pressure me into getting any unwanted work. They have a nice line of communication with the customer and have never done any work on my car that I didn't approve.

Hagen's automotive recently fix both my 2011 Chevelet Silverado and my wife's 2013 Volvo. We have been customers of Hagen's for over twenty years. Steve Hagen and his staff have always done an excellent job fixing our vehicles. Thank you Steve for being a great man of integrity and hard worker. Did unnecessary work which cost me

Good Day Mr. K. Stephen Hagen here, I am confused please call me. I did what you requested. You asked me how much to find out why your Accord would not start because you had to jump it. I told you an electrical test would cost $57.80. If the test did not revel the problem I would call to let you know what our next step would be. When you dropped the Accord off for testing,you mentioned that you did not need it back quickly and prefer I take the steps necessary to be thorough since you where confident the battery was good because you had purchased it from the Honda Dealer approximately a year earlier. When I called to tell you that the battery was in fact bad, and I had installed a new battery to finish testing the starting and charging system you where perplexed. You where confident that the battery could not be bad. After I installed the battery Honda warranted for you, you stated that you felt like you wasted your money. Your leaving comment was "If I would have taken it to the dealer I wouldn't have to spend any money". I recall this very well as it had saddened me after I had spent time explaining how the refractometer we use to validate battery failure is accurate to +/-1% and test results cannot be refuted when properly executed. As I said in the beginning, I am confused. I removed and installed two batteries, executed an electrical test on your vehicle, explained and demonstrated several procedural diagnostic steps for your clarification. I performed the services, collected for the services, explained the services until all of your questions were satisfied, and received a signed copy from you. I would say because I have used Hagen's for several years and have been totally satisfied. He is morally grounded and I have never had any reason to doubt his opinion or trustworthiness. The only reason I would take my car there is because he has done a great job and I see no reason to take my car elsewhere.

The first thing is that they don't do unnecessary repairs. Steve Hagen is honest and fair, he says this is what needs done now and this can wait. He doesn't do work that doesn't need to be done, he is realistic on the time frame, and he keeps me informed on cost and time. The last time I was in there I needed 1500 dollars worth of work done since I hadn't had work done in 5 years, because I didn't have possession of the vehicle. I appreciate that he let me wait to do the repairs until I had the money. I've been doing business with them since December of 2004 and I've never taken my vehicle anywhere else, I have had no wrecks but they did have to do some body work because I tore up the front end of my van, I recommend them to everyone. He does all the work on all three of my cars.
