I came in to have them adjust the brakes or what ever deemed necessary so the brake pedals would not go down 3/4ths of the way before they worked. The mechanic assured me they were fine. When I picked up the car, I felt no proper adjustments were made. So my option is to go to Subaru and have them fix the problem

Owner was great. Everything done well. Timely.

They were very courteous and performed the repair I asked for in a timely manner. However, they also charged me $30 to change a blinker bulb without permission, and $5 to top off oil without permission, and didn't explain that the radiator hoses they were putting in were much lower quality than the OEM hoses. I was disappointed about them not asking before doing part of the work, and that they didn't seem to give a thought to the lower quality of hoses, nor did they explain it to me.

They were able to get my car to start by replacing my camshaft sensor, however a few days later my car is having more problems with the fuel system and I suspect it is the camshaft. The store told me to bring it in and they said if it was the sensor they would fix it for free but they checked the rest of my fuel line and system and they said their wasn't a problem there so it seems like either they missed something or the sensor is faulty. I will be taking the car in later today and hopefully they can fix it for free or a reduced cost

Questions Answered by Pacific Auto Service
The oil light comes on quite frequently to...
It is not normal but it is frequent that engine consumes a little oil, specially if you have high mileage. Unless you have an oil seepage somewhere. This could be inspected and may be corrected.

The CV (constant velocity) half shaft (or drive axle) is a mechanism that transmits power from the transaxle/differential directly to the wheels. It is comprised of both an inner and outer CV joint, CV boots, and clamps.
In an axle replacement all of these get replaced all at once.

Typically this timing belt is due at 90K miles under normal or severe condition. It is probably still early. The timing belt cover may be open to check the condition of the belt.
