Brought my 2002 Hunday Sonata in, vibrations at high speed. Shop found damaged mounting fixtures for the engine, replaced them, (showed broken ones afterward), ride much smoother after that.

I highly recommend Meissner Automotive and Kurt and Vic!

My car is 17 years old. Nearly every time I needed a repair, admittedly more frequently in recent years, I went to the dealer mostly as a convenience. It was near by, I could get a loaner car for free, and it got fixed. Pretty good deal, right?

However, I never felt that I really got the attention that I really desired.

I dealt with the service representative and not the mechanic at the dealer. I m pretty sure that over the years, the service rep s never looked at my car or was ever in the shop; he or she always had to get back to me . I was charged for every little thing. I m sure it was all needed but my invoice was always pages long. Like I was in the hospital; every bolt, nut, strap, and part. I m not saying that I shouldn t have gotten that but I m not a car guy; the reason I bring a car in is to get it running again because I can t. The rep s focus always seemed to be on showing me the invoice rather than the car. I didn t feel that anyone was really taking responsibility for fixing my car. And if something wasn t right or I needed to bring the car back for some reason; it always resulted in getting charged more money.

Bottom line was that while the car eventually got fixed, I didn t feel I was getting good value or attention.

I m much happier with Meissner Automotive. Kurt and Vic answer the phone when I call and know what s going on with my car. I get their attention and feel that I m getting good value, too!

I went in with a list of repairs I thought I needed. They didn't suggest any unnecessary repairs, AND they dissuaded me from getting some of my own listed repairs done. The total opposite of being pressured into spending more money on unnecessary repair. I feel great about going back to them in the future. If they suggest a repair to me, I'll feel confident it's legit.

Is there a difference between the two? The...
Unfortunately you have to fix both if they are leaking. If you just fix one leak, the leak that you did not fix, will just leak more. The engine is always under pressure. Picture a damn with two leaks. You plug one. What is going to happen to the other leak?
