Brought my car in just under 2 years ago for my air conditioner. My air started making the exact same noise, only this time it was something different and twice as much...

The service writer was very prompt, professional, and thorough. Together with the service technicians (mechanics) they went over the vehicle's service records and looked for anything that might need attention now or soon. And all this came with a prompt and neat oil change. Their thoroughness and answers to my concerns gave me confidence in their professionalism and enabled me to drive away knowing my vehicle was in great mechanical condition.

I have found that going to Jiffy Lube is much better. None of the reservoirs for windshield wipers, radiator overflow etc were filled up, Jiffy Lube tops everything off for you and states come back anytime even if you aren't ready for oil change and we will top you off. They stated they rotated my tires and did not, when I called to inquire about it they said maybe they didn't but that was not reported on the report they gave me.

Thank you Cindy for the honest review. Our company policies are to top off all fluids and tire pressures at every visit. We also top off any fluid to any of our customers at any time free of charge. You were not charged for tire rotation or fluid top offs as those are a free part of your services. I (Corey) spoke with you personally when you called, but the tech that worked on your vehicle was out at that time and I couldn’t assure you either way on your tire rotation without speaking to him first. The inspection report from your service indicated rear tire edge wear and recommended an alignment check and has a hand-written note that fluids were topped off, but did not specify if the tires were not rotated. As a policy, if the tires are not rotated then the tech is to indicate that and the reasons why. I have since reviewed your repair with the tech and he assures that he would’ve placed the best tires on the rear and all fluids should have been topped. If necessary, we could quickly prove if they were rotated by locating the tires with edge wear. I would be glad to check with you to put ease to the question. It is unfortunate to have these questions come up on our first opportunity to work for you, as it is rare to have any concerns about our technician’s attention to detail. Because of this incident, we now have new policies to have the techs indicate exactly what tires were rotated to what position and why or why not on the inspection report. We hope to get another opportunity to help you with your vehicle care needs so you can experience our commitment to excellence that almost all our clients rave about. Again, Thank you
Corey,
p.s. you didn’t mention the awesome inspection report that we sent you, Jiffy Lube doesn’t do that.

Questions Answered by Street Tech Auto Care
Rplaced Thermostat. Radiator. Car Will Circulate Water. Top Hose Gets Hot Lower Hose Stays Cool. Help on 1995 Acura Integra
I assume it is overheating and that is why your looking into the hose temperatures. you may have a restriction causing no flow, or bad waterpump propellers, or air trapped in the system. If it overheated than I would want to check for possible head gasket failure first.
Oil Pressure Light On And Sensor Not Working on 2003 Nissan 350Z
If you are still comfortable with the shop that did the repairs, then you should take it back to them and let them make sure it isnt related to the repairs and fix it for free for you if it is related. As a professional facility, I would appreciate the opportunity to correct something like that directly after any repairs we make. If they give you any grief or concerns or if you just want another shop to look into it then we would be glad to help at Street Tech. If it turns out related then you have evidence from a credited shop. Hopefully they just take good care of you and you wont have to worry about anything like "evidence".
Honda Keeps Overheating Fixed Gasket Leak And I Took Out Thermostat on 2005 Honda Accord
fans and thermostat are great answers of where to check next. anything that would create low flow situations like worn waterpump blades, passage restrictions, or air pockets can cause similar symptoms. I also would be concerned about combustion gases in the cooling system. You can purchase a block check kit from napa and test it yourself. Or we would be glad at Street Tech Auto Care to do a preliminary 60$ set of tests to pin it down for you . Then you can make the repairs yourself if you want.
We Have A 2003 Kia Sadona, Auto Transmission Won't Go Into Gear on 2003 Kia Sedona
I agree with casey, that probably isnt something your going to be able to do at home. we can help at street tech anytime you are ready.
Engine Turns Over But Does Not Start It's Not Getting Feul on 2004 Mazda B2300
If it is truly not getting fuel to the engine and the inertia switch is ok you can try smacking the fuel cell hard a few times, if this works then your fuel pump is failing. if it doesnt work, you need to verify if fuel is getting to the engine fuel rail. this will tell you if the problem is the fuel delivery system or possibly the computer is not turning on the injectors. Add a fuel substitute to the intake and see if the engine fires up. That will tell you the rest of the systems are working.
Left My 2010 Mercedes C300 4matic Sit For A Month With Minimal Gas Now Cel Light on 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC
clear the code out and drive the car a few days to see if it comes back. you will need to drive anyway to get it to pass its monitors after clearing the code.also your going to need to smog it when you sell it. It will not pass smog with a check engine light on or if the monitors are not passed. If you can't clear the code on your own, swing by Street Tech Auto Care and we will clear it for you for free. If the code comes back then you will need a proper diagnostic to isolate the problem, we also can help you with that if you need it.
The Car Dies While At A Stop Why? Does It Have To Do With The Timing Belt.
on 2005 Nissan Altima
I dont think you have a timing belt! That should be a chain car. 2005 altima's are either 2.5 or 3.5 engines and both those are chain motors. As for your dies at stops, I would assume you have other symptoms associated with it, i.e. check engine light, stumbling or hesitations, overheating, engine noises. The stall out could be related to a lot of problems so what other symptoms do you have?
Abs, Slip, And Tcs Off Lights Come On At The Same Time On An Intermittent Basis. on 2005 Nissan Altima
you need to pull the codes to get more help from internet sources, I will tell you that the HVAC module can get loose change fall into it and cause your symptoms. Usually you will have com, can or bus codes associated with it. I would guess the check engine light is on as well. A lot of places will pull the codes for free , ( we certainly do at Street Tech Auto Care), and then you can do better homework on your own or decide to pay for some help. HTH
Just Replaced The Transmission And The Car Still Doesn't Want To Drive Sometimes on 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix
did you replace the trans yourself ? If a shop did it then they should look at it for free to prove that their trans is not the fault, and at least advise you of what needs to be done if not fix it. to answer your question, if the programming was the problem then I would expect the symptoms to be consistent but you stated sometimes. Need more information on the exact symptoms and when they occur.
What Is The Cost To Get The Abs Brake System Repaired on 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid
it sounds like you have an abs light coming on. If that is true then you need a shop to look into the codes and trace affected circuits. then if you want to repair it yourself you will know what to replace. Generally speaking you should be looking at $125 to $160 . at a reputable shop.
