Knowledgeable staff. I knew exactly what was being repaired and why it needed to be. And knew that they guaranteed their work if it failed.

I went in for a timing belt and Chuck told me that my model doesn't need a timing belt (it has a no-maintenance chain) so that saved me $600 right off the bat! They went ahead and did a tune up and overall check for me instead. I love the email feedback they send with photos and recommendations.

Staff professional, prices good, quality great.
Verified Customer
I have no problem with the quality of the work. However, I asked to not have a diagnostic test done for a check engine light that I figured was just a car problem, and was ultimately pressured into it. It is not a good value to pay $90 for a simple scanner test that many other places do for free. With no parts, I assume that's all labor cost, and based on what I heard I doubt anyone spent more than a few minutes reading a scanner. Disappointing because I like the shop otherwise and the work hasn't been good. Please stop charging so much for a simple scan test, or at least stop pressuring people into getting them when they say they don't want to.

These guys are great! The work was done in a timely manner, the price was fair, and everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. I've already referred several people to this shop, as a good mechanic can be hard to come by. 10/10

Questions Answered by Cantrell Service Center
Turn The Key On, Got Fire To The Coil For About A Second, Loses Fire When
on 1993 Dodge Dakota
Looking up that symptom renders as many confirmed repairs as you have time to read. Anything from a wiring issue to the computer. It will require someone with the older Dodge scan tool to track down the source. Testing to pinpoint the cause will be better for you than putting parts on it till it runs.
What Could Cause The Odometer To Stop Turning. on 1991 Chevrolet Corsica
That is the #2 most common repair search for that vehicle. The answer is that testing is the only way to pinpoint the cause. Most common are the vehicle speed sensor, instrument cluster failure, and vehicle computer. Testing would help answer the question further and pinpoint the cause. Replacement of the vehicle speed sensor would be the quickest least expensive thing to try. If that doesn't work, you will need to take it to a shop for testing.
Why Would The Temp And Fuel Gauges Peg Over Max And The Tach Not Work Properly
on 1997 Suzuki Sidekick
The honest answer is that without testing the signals, there is no way to know. The temp gauge may have been damaged and causing the gauge to peg. The fuel gauge should not have been affected, so that tends to point toward a possible gauge cluster issue. Without more data, that's about all I can guess at this point. It is an OBDII computer vehicle, so a shop with a scan tool should be able to test for signals & gauge operation.
Codes P2070 & P0410 Lots Of Smoke From Exhaust, How Can I Fix These? on 2005 Mazda RX-8
Not a Rotory shop, but the P2070 is an SSV code and the P0410 is a Secondary Air Injection code. The most common repairs for the P2070 are
12 - Secondary Shutter Valve Vacuum Control Solenoid
9 - Shutter Valve
2 - Vacuum Hose/Line(s)
1 - Secondary Shutter Valve (SSV) Vacuum Solenoid Wiring
1 - Secondary Shutter Valve Vacuum Control Solenoid and Shutter Valve

Possible causes for the P0410 code are..
- AIR system malfunction
- Restrict or damaged in exhaust system
- Restrict in three way catalytic converter
-PCM malfunction

I don't know if that helps, but that's what I have found on these 2 codes.
