Service was ok and car was ready quickly but I wish that we had been told about the $110 diagnostic fee prior to the service. I ve never paid a diagnostic fee that high and being on a very limited income, we were upset with this.
Verified Customer
Took it in for an antifreeze leak. Was shocked at the total bill. I get the idea that the work that was done was needed to avoid further repairs. Just felt the pressure was on. Not sure if I would recommend. The counter guys were great.

Why Could My Traction Control Light Come On And Then When I Turn My Car Off It Goes Off And Then I'll Turn Back On A Couple Miles Later on 2005 Ford Five Hundred
Your vehicle has multiple sensors that monitor vehicle speed and braking. These circuits may affect the proper operation of your traction control system and where a fault may be detected, a warning light would alert you to this occurrence.

Feel free to contact Interstate Auto Care at your convenience and we will perform the diagnosis and necessary repair (the same day in most cases)

We are open Monday to Friday 8 to 6, and Saturdays 8 to 5.

I Have A 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 L That Shuts Off After Heating Up on 1999 Dodge Ram 1500
The fact that the vehicle is running hot, needs to be addressed first. How far are you from Interstate Auto Care and are you able to discuss this over the telephone. We are certain to be of assistance, but we do not recommend the continued driving of this vehicle in this condition, as you may cause severe engine damage if you continue to drive it.

Why Is My Car In Limp Mode on 2006 BMW 525i
“Limp in” mode is your vehicle’s attempt to limit your driving to limping into a repair center for service.

Your vehicke’s powertrain management system is detecting an issue that it feels needs to be addressed urgently.

Therefore, I recommend having the vehicle’s issue diagnosed ASAP.

We are open weekdays 7 to 6 and Saturdays 8 to 5. We would be happy to assist in resolving your problem if you wish.

What Antifreeze Do I Need What Color? on 1997 Pontiac Bonneville
Your original coolant/antifreeze, otherwise called DexCool, would have been colored red. Replacement coolants which are typically "universal" may come in a few different colors. Have you contacted the mechanic to ask him/her if the coolant that was installed is compatible with your vehicle?
Make A Loud Thump Noise, Stay In Second Gear, And The Check Engine Light Come On on 2008 Kia Spectra
Good morning c4344,

Intermittent vehicle problems can be tricky to deal with and will require the vehicle to exhibit whatever the reported symptoms are, so that we can trace down the source of the issue.

With that said, we have been in business for nearly 20 years and specialize in these very situations. I would suggest considering possibly leaving the vehicle with us for a few days, if necessary, should the vehicle need to be driven in order to duplicate your complaint.

Fuel Pump Replacement on 1997 Cadillac Eldorado

My Radiator Fan Won't Spin And Car Is Smoking on 2003 Ford Taurus
Good morning DSCONYERS,

With the engine cold, please check to make sure that your radiator and/or your expansion tank has enough coolant in it. I would not attempt driving the vehicle with the radiator fan not functioning, particularly if there is little to no coolant left in the engine. You may overheat the engine and not even see that on your coolant temperature gauge, under this condition.

You may reach us at (248)307-1200 and we can arrange to have it towed in and diagnosed as early as this morning.

Looking forward to meeting you soon,
