I trust Jeff's Auto Repair, both for routine servicing and for repairs. Both our cars are no longer new (1998 and 2009), but they have been reliable runners thanks to the proper attention they have received when serviced and/or repaired by Jeff's mechanics.

Questions Answered by Jeff's Auto Repair - Lynnwood
My Check Engine Light Is On And My Car Does Not Want To Idle. on 2002 Volkswagen Beetle
Throttle body issues are very common. It would require communicating with the computer and then manually going in that direction and diagnosing properly.

I'm not sure off the top of my head. Feel free to bring the car by and we can take a look at it for you and let you know.
Sound Coming From Steering... on 1998 Lincoln Continental

Jeff's Auto Repair
Cost To Replace Timing Belt? on 2001 Toyota Tacoma
This is going to really vary depending on what size engine you have. Please let me know if it is a 3.4 V6, 2.7 4 cyl or 2.4 4 cyl
Check Engine Light That Scans "Emission Gross Leak" I Change The Gas Cap... on 1999 Ford Escort
Like Roy stated, the Evap systems are very difficult to locate leaks without the proper equipment that a AAA/ASA Repair Shop would have. Even with the right equipment it is sometimes difficult to locate these leaks. I would recommend getting your vehicle into a known reliable shop and have them do the hard work of diagnosing.

Runs Hot When I Am Going Slow on 1998 Ford Windstar
Well, you might have a possible issue with coolant flow, like plugged up radiator or a cooling fan issue. Recommend getting your vehicle into a AAA/ASE Repair shop to have someone diagnose the issue properly.
Water Pump on 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser
It doesn't seem to normal for a pump to fail again after 30,000 miles, but again it is over 4 years since it was done. You could certainly try and make a "stink", but I'm not sure where that is going to get you. It may be worth a shot and maybe they will do if for less or something. If they won't I would recommend going to a good Independent shop that is AAA approved and who has ASE Tech's.

Good Luck,

Last Week I Started The Car And I Had No Forward Or Reverse, Everything Was Neutral. on 2000 Chrysler Concorde
Yes, it does sound like an intermittent transmission shift solenoid or transmission sensor of some sort that is failing. Would highly recommend if the symptom continues to get the vehicle into a ASE Cert./AAA repair shop. We would be happy to help out or find a shop near you that has those credentails.
Electrical on 1992 Lexus SC400
Sounds like a possible ground issue. I would highly recommend bringing the vehicle into a ASE Cert. repair shop. Good idea is to search for one that is AAA Approved. If you are in Mount lake Terrace we are just down the street from you on Hwy 99. Let us know if we can help out.
Water Leak on 1999 Chrysler Sebring
Well, I would ask you if you are seeing any signs of coolant leaking on the ground? Also has the engine been getting hot? How did you discover that you had to add coolant. (temperature gauge registering hot, signs of coolant on the ground, steam?)

We would recommend getting your vehicle into a shop. Best thing to do is start with a coolant pressure test to see if we can find any signs of external coolant leaks.
