The staff at Stan's was friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. The mechanics took the time to make sure my car was inspected as promised. The inspection showed that what might have been the initial diagnosis wasn't right. What was estimated to be a $500 plus repair ended up to be only $60. They didn't try to sell me parts I didn't need. I also needed a car while my car was at Stan's and they set me up with Enterprise. My car hasn't had the issue I took it in for since my visit.

I have used Stan's before with a good positive experience. They have done some regular maintenance as well as helped problem solve and fix the problem with my engine. Recently though I brought my car in to have them solve why the car ran poorly when it was cold. I was quite surprised to learn I would not talk to a mechanic at all during my experience to convey what I had experienced with the car when I was running poorly, just notes taken by a receptionist. The notes were inaccurate as to what occurred, so it was no big surprise to learn they were unable to find out why the car was running poorly. I was further disappointed when the lead mechanic did nothing to further assess the car even when he found out the information he had been working from was incorrect. Poor diagnostic skills, and poor customer service. I will not return to Stan's for more service due to this experience.

My Tahoe was in for a blown transmission. Even though I couldn't afford to get it fixed, they were very thorough in checking it out and making recommendations to me.

I didn't like the fact of the prices they attempted to charge me for services not needed or wanted. And I was told they wouldn't put a serpentine belt on without doing an inspection first. In which I told them all I needed was the belt and that it was old. So they refused to put my belt on in which they were going to charge me 175.00 plus tax and tow fee...so I will never ever call them again for anything

I have a Tesla and Stan's Auto was willing and able to do an alignment on it while many other shops I tried were not. Although it took more time than I expected, that was probably due to the uniqueness of the car. I was quite pleased with the result!
