This is long but it covers several interactions and several problems. The staff was 'nice' but Ryan dropped my car off with it making a HORRIBLE rattling/shaking noise and a weird noise from the brand new AC and did not even mention it to me at drop off. I called as soon as I was driving and heard it and brought it in right after on my way home (and thinking my car was going to fall apart from the rattle) and the staff did stay late to help troubleshoot. The terrifying noise was because they didn't put my car back together correctly but it was resolved and they determined the brand new pulley was faulty and that was the other noise. I brought in the new pully and had it replaced and the noise was still there in addition to the ac not cooling as well as it should either (having car on full blast ac and not cooled after an hour of driving, air pressure also seems softer). I was told it might go away on it's own or that it might just be because they used aftermarket parts instead of Honda parts, but if the noise continued, to bring it back in a couple of weeks for them to replace the expansion valve. I brought it back to have the expansion valve replaced since the noise was still happening/poor cooling and Ryan called me to let me know that the valves were leaking which was causing the noise and I only had 40% freon. He also stated they checked the cabin air filter and it looked fine (I checked today and it's filthy so they lied about checking it). They replaced the valves (but not the expansion valve they determined before was probably the cause of the noise) filled freon and did a leak check which it passed. Ryan then said the noises were gone because the leak was repaired and it is blowing cold. When they picked me up in my car I immediately heard the noise I was just told was gone, didn't notice a difference in the ac being much colder either. I told Ryan it was still making the noise and asked what brand was used so i could research the noise myself and he advised it is Global and offered no solution to the noise still being there even though he had just advised me it was gone an hour before on the phone. The staff was 'friendly' enough but after 5 trips into the shop, my ac isn't even working as well as it was when I brought it in and it has an annoying noise that if anything has gotten worse and did not 'go away on its own' so I will be taking it to another Napa location that hopefully knows what they are doing with ACs. If you have smaller basic tasks or don't care about the work being done correctly as long as they're nice, this is the place for you.
