This is a fantastic shop. Sevada has a true commitment to giving his customers quality service. He is trustworthy, knowledgeable and super nice. The work took a little longer than expected and he called me an Uber so I didn't have to wait. Anyplace that guarantees their work, parts and labor for 5 years has to have it going on. In this aspect, they are unmatched. I found my mechanic for life.

Chances are the blower motor and resister, but have someone check it out to make sure something else isn't shorting out the blower motor. Some BMW had issues with the blower motor.

Absolutely, the first thing should be to replace all the fluid and also drain the gasoline also. Fluids should be replaced every 2 years/30K miles, whichever comes first.
Engine Swap 2003 330i 3.0l Into A 2002 330i on 2002 BMW 330i
They are both M54 engines, it should work. However my suggestion would be to either get your own motor rebuild professionally or look into a rebuild motor. The used motor can be a nightmare and you want the work to be only once. Be sure to replace all hoses, water pump and anything else while the motor is out.
