This Place Is Most Definitely a Trustworthy place to go, they tell you exactly what is wrong with car I have been to this shop twice and both times were positive experiences and prices are very good and will always bring my car needs to them.

Excellent service. Fixed my transmission for less than anticipated.

I know it was good but last time I went there it was for a clutch.

I was looking all over for a good shop to do some transmission work on my 2010 Volkswagen Passat. When I finally found it Everett Transmission was the one. The owner was very knowledgeable about Volkswagens. The dealer said I needed a whole new transmission but I didn't need one. The shop saved me a bunch of cash on something I didn't need. Thanks.

This family owned shop has shown has been around since 1962, with owner Alan Doherty being in charge for the last 43 years. He has assembled a very experienced team of technicians, with over 70 years combined! One thing all that experience has taught them is the importance of ongoing training. Which they all attend regularly to keep up with ever changing automotive technology. They have certainly seen a lot of changes since this business first opened 55 years ago. Swing by and say Hello to their friendly manager, Luis Ruiz. He has made his way through the ranks.

Questions Answered by Everett Transmission & Auto Repair
transmission never sliped but got stuck in...
As far as electronics your transmission uses a Governor pressure sensor and governor solenoid also a lock up and 3/4 shift solenoid. There's no EPC solenoid. Its unlikely a no move in forward and reverse is anything electrical in this unit. how ever you could have heated it up and stuck a valve int the regulator. We'd be happy to check it out and properly diagnose it for you and give you a few options to repair. Thank you Alan @ Everett Transmission.

Without seeing it would be very hard to say. If the offset is of the wheels combined with the height it is likely putting extra stress on the wheel bearing hub assembly. But many things must be considered and inspected.

Things that come to mind are drive shaft u joints seizing, rest diff.bearings, drive shaft center bearing. A torque converter can also give chatters or torsional vibrations. We can take a test ride and inspect for you. Thank you,am@everetttransmission.com

Will it set a code. By this I mean if you unplug a sensor like the tps will the vehicle set a retrievable code. By knowing this we can determine if the pcm is capable of reading codes. I would start here. Thank you Alan@ Everett transmission

Ray,
There are a few different things we can do to figure out what is going on. We can check the intake camshaft sprocket for a stuck open condition, if that is ok then we will need to check the vehicles timing. Either one of these issues can be causing the condition.
