Although ownership and management have recently changed, Leos still provides quality service. Just like the previous owner, repair work is consistently performed well. I never need to worry about poor quality or new issues showing up as a result of their work. Those are not easy things to find in the auto repair industry.

As you can expect with most mechanic shops I went in with the idea of spending a certain amount and ended up spending WAY more. Red flag #1. It then came back to me with issues that didn't exist before I brought it there. Red flag #2. After wasting a large amount of time during my work day arguing on the phone ( with a guy who makes phone calls and NOT the one doing any work) about what was done or not and what was there before or not. I did get them to fix the problem they created (which was a small issue and never should have been an argument. Especially after the amount of money I spent.) I soon after had a dead battery which I had to replace. Which was never mentioned and one would assume would be part of the diagnostic check it at the least they would have done a battery charge as a service after thousands of dollars in repairs...I later was told how much of a price gouge I had been taken for when running the parts an labor through a website to check the average for what I had done. I'm pretty sure I also had low air in my tires after. There was also a strange sound in the engine after. The obvious broken parts were fixed though for a huge price but pretty unsatisfied. Pretty much everything one would expect from a random mechanic shop.

I made the mistake of taking my car to another shop once. NEVER AGAIN! Leo's takes care of all our cars and trucks and I know that they will always make sure that my cars are in top shape without over selling me on stuff I don't need.

I really like Leo's. I trust the shop and think it does good work. The reason I don't go regularly is that I do think it's expensive. The small repairs I've had done there have cost significantly more than they would at the Volvo specialist shop I take my car to usually. I use Leo's when I will have a child with me because I can walk home from Leo's, or the park or to lunch. It's not a good neighborhood for those things where my other shop is. But, when I can, and when I know a service is going to be a big one, I go to my other shop. I do think some things are more expensive on my car because it's a Volvo. I took my previous car to Leo's for everything and felt fine about that. Anyhow, I recommend Leo's to anyone in the neighborhood because I love the shop.

This may be a result of either a improperly performing thermostat or a air pocket in the cooling system. I would start by verifying the coolant level is full of good clean coolant, and there is no air trapped in the system. Next I would check the temperatures of both the upper and lower radiator hoses. Improper flow will undoubtedly result in poor heat.

Will the engine start and run on supplemental fuel (i.e. carburetor cleaner or starting fluid)? If so you have a fuel delivery issue that is most likely a failed fuel pump. If not I would proceed with checking and verifying spark as well as cylinder compression.

2008 RDX - Keyless Entry Transmitter Test

NOTE:

If the doors unlock or lock with the transmitter, but the LED on the transmitter does not come on, the LED is faulty; replace the transmitter.

If any door is open, you cannot lock the doors with the transmitter.

Press the lock or unlock button five or six times to reset the transmitter.

If the locks work, the transmitter is OK.

The door jamb switch is usually located on the part of the car that the door hinge is mounted on. Some cars have that switch incorporated in the latch assembly, in which case the door will need to be disassembled to repair.

In addition to the first comment, if the compressor is noisy or locked up, you will need to flush the system and install a filter on the low pressure side before the compressor to prevent debris in the system from damaging the new compressor.
