I would definitely return to Midwest Auto Services. They were very professional, kept in touch with me to let me know what was going on with my vehicle. They even asked to keep it a little longer to ensure that the gas and oil leaks they were repairing did not continue to leak which I appreciated. Their quote was accurate and they did not try to talk me into additional work that needed to be done.

I was advised to go to Midwest by a friend and they didn't disappoint! My wife's Nissan had a security malfunction that wouldn't allow her to start the car. Nissan had issued a Voluntary Service Campaign that we never knew about. Jim at Midwest called Nissan and found this out for us. Nissan covered the tow and repair (would have been in the neighborhood of 1000.00) My point is this- Jim didn't have to call Nissan or tell us about the bulletin that Nissan had put out. He could have just offered to fix the car and put the money in his pocket. We would have never known. But that's not how they operate from there at Midwest. They are honest and tell it like it is. Refreshing. I highly recommend this shop and tell everyone I know to go there. Thanks guys!

The staff here is always knowledgeable and always appear trustworthy. They don't push for things that you don't ask for. They fit me in as I had my vehicle towed in with a broken starter. Fixed, and new spark plugs placed at my request, within 2-3 hours. They give me details about my repair if I ask, and warranty information.

Some are black only, and can be installed out of the box. Damage dependent, there are options for repair or replacement. Used is also an option.

There are several possibilities. Condensation from the air conditioner operating is normally drained to the outside of the car. If that drain is blocked, it will pool in the car floor. Coolant from a leaking heater core will pool in the same area. A windshield leaking can pool on the floor. You should consult a competent professional to assess your particular situation and provide repair options.

You evidently have a current draw that drains the battery when everything is shut off in the car. I recommend you seek a professional that can perform basic testing including starter draw and alternator output, diode status and a current draw measurement at the battery. Hello. I think you might have some terms mixed together - Intake Manifold Gaskets and Valve Cover Gaskets are two separate items. If you want to repair an oil leak from the valve cover gaskets, you're right about $310 for both gaskets, labor, supplies, and tax. The intake manifold does not require removal for this job on your vehicle so no gaskets would be required. Please feel free to contact us for an appointment!
Remove Ing Cylnder Without Key on 1998 Buick Park Avenue
If the title of the vehicle is in your name, take it to a GM dealership and they can cut the correct key for you.

Removal without the key will require drilling and removal of the ignition housing - something that is quite difficult to do outside of a repair shop. We're happy to provide you a quote to repair it if you cannot procure a key from the dealership.

Your responses indicate that the remote start is aftermarket (not a factory option) so diagnosis could be tough if you don't have the documents to tell you the required parameters for starting.

Since 2 systems do the same thing, it might be a default setting in the way it operates. Many factory systems will not allow remote starting if the battery voltage is below a certain amount. Battery voltage and amperage fall in cold weather so that could be your issue.

Assuming you have the 4T60 (4 speed) and not the 3T40(3 speed) transmission, I'd check adjustment of the shift cable to be sure the transmission is actually in drive. You set adjustment with the transmission in neutral.

Lift the shift cable lock button up so it releases the cable. Manually shift the selector rod on the transmission to neutral. Next, shift the selector (shifter) into neutral. Last, press the shift cable lock button to stay the cable into the new adjusted position.
