Questions Answered by International Auto Repair
hood wont open with latch
If the hood is just tight or the latch just sticks, and the car hasn't been in any accidents and the hood cable isn't broken. Sometimes you can get a second person to push up and down on the front of the hood while you are pulling the hood release cable. If the hood pops up to the safety latch you will need to fix the problem before closing the hood again. It maybe nothing more than lubing the latch assembly and working the hood cable back and forth. Good luck if you need more help please give us a call at 410-944-6850 Thanks Bobby

If you are doing that much driving in the city. You should be getting your brakes check regularly, at least every 3-4 months. You can't prevent the pads and rotors from wearing out but you don't want to do any damage to the brake calipers themselves. Which would add a lot of cost to having your brakes replaced. Hopefully this will help give you an idea of how to do maintenance to your vehicle and not repairs. Thanks Bobby

Good Morning
I would need more information before I could give you an answer to your problem.
The first question I would have is how long has this been going on ? Did it just start when it got real hot out or has it been a problem for a while ?
Next is the cooling system pressurizing after the engine has been run ?
Does the problem happen while driving or just when sitting in traffic ?
When you go to start car it cranks over bu...
Good Morning
It sounds like the engine is flooded for some reason. it maybe be a leaking fuel injector. Is the check engine light on by any chance ? If it is that would help in diagnosing your problem. If you need more help you can give us a call at 410-944-6850. Thanks Bobby

Sorry to hear about your problem. If the A/C drain is clear and hooked up. My first question would be does the water have any smell if it does it could be coolant leaking from the heater core or a heater hose under the dash. Does this vehicle have a sun roof if so it could be coming in around the seal or the drains for the sun roof could be clogged. Hopefully this will help if you need more help you can call me at 410-944-6750 Thanks Bobby

If the computer thinks the engine is running hot for some reason it will shut down the a/c system and turn the condenser fan on high to try and cool the engine. If the system is full and was working normally then you may have to check codes and repair them first before the a/c system will be allowed to come back on. If you need more help please give us a call at 410-944-6850. Thanks Bobby

The oil filter is on the right side under the power steering pump. I would suggest you check the oil level before driving. Go back to shop and ask them take a look at the problem . Also ask for a refund for the oil you had to buy and also ask them to clean the engine so you can keep an eye on any other oil leaks

I have no way of knowing what is covered by your dealer or not covered. If this vehicle has the 3.6 liter engine in it most of the time we have just had to replace the oil pressure switch under the intake manifold and if the oil cooler or housing is leaking that gets replaced as well. If you have a check engine light on those codes would need to be tested as the first step in repairing your problem. If you need more help please give us a call at 410-944-6850 to set-up an appointment. Thanks Bobby

It maybe the shift solenoid is not releasing, check and make sure your brake lights are working, also make sure the wheels aren't turned into the curb and there is tension on the transmission not letting the you get it out of park.
Hopefully this will help in please let use know. Thanks Bobby
