I was a first-time customer with a pretty simple, safety related problem. They fit me in and did a fine job. I wouldn t hesitate to return for other issues, if needed.

Best customer service I've ever had. We travel 45 minutes one way just to have them work on our vehicles.

I really appreciated the transparency John provided. My car needed a lot done to it and he took his time to explain everything to me and keep me in the loop on extra costs. He provided top shelf service.

It was my first visit and they took the time to explain what they would do, kept me informed of progress throughout the day, resolved the problem and performed the services at a very reasonable price.

Repaired and replaced the items that needed to be fixed. Brought to my attention items that need to be replaced (brake pads) in the next few months.

I had an oil change and also a check of a rattling in car. It was a good hour and a half for the visit. I felt that was pretty long. The person assisting very businesslike and cold. He did explain very well procedure of this business. Note: they were able to relay the issue of the rattling as they would have to go into the engine. I took my car to another mechanic who found the issue in less than ten minutes. Al's may have had my business in this repair if they had found it also. There is numerous pages too. Play it simple. The friendliest person there was a woman who performed transportation needs etc.

Friendly, professional, excellent communication skills, very knowledgeable. Excellent job of explaining the problem and how it was repaired. Loved the final cost. Plus, the staff filled me in on other issues they found that would need attention in the near future.

Question Answered by Al's Certified Auto Repairs, A.C.A.R.
Does The 2006 Honda Ridgeline Have An Ignition Key With A Computer Chip In It? on 2006 Honda Ridgeline
It certainly could cause it not to start. If you have the end of the key hold on to the ignition key while turning the vehicle may start then. There is piece behind the key slot that picks up the key code and then allows the vehicle to start. If your hold the broken end in place it should read the key code. You can also have the key copied to a writable key blank as well. Then there is no need to reprogram the vehicle
