You could have anything from a slow leak which has reduced your coolant level low enough to cause overheating to a bad thermostat all the way to a blown head gasket. Either more information is needed or an inspection. We have worked on Saturns since they came out...

I see no reason to assume the EGR system is the cause of dying while driving, especially if the EGR is restricted or not working! There must be more to the story. We have seen so many thing that might cause the problem that there would be no room to write them all. If you call we might be able to help you plan the next step.
Must wait 15 - 20 minutes cooldown to start
Well, I'd have to ask if you mean; it does crank (spin the engine) when I turn the key and not start, or nothing happens when you turn the key? The answer leads to two different areas, the first being fuel or spark problems (like distributor), the second being battery or starter or even ignition switch. Sorry to say, but without checking with a volt meter of some kind, you don't really know... There can be fuseable links by the battery that have blown or the 40 - 80 amp main fuse also can go. You have multipul circuits not working so it isn't one fuse. There are probably two fuse/relay boxes...

Well, assuming there is fuel in the tank.... and what you are adding is something like starter fluid; you still don't have fuel getting to the engine. If you don't hear the fuel pump engage when you turn the key, start with fuse/relay/wire problem. If you hear the fuel pump trying to work when you turn the key, look for plugged fuel line or filter. Past that, my shop is in Albany...

There are some vacuum lines that corode from oil and there are cold idle systems that should raise the idle until the engine systems warm up... sounds like we need more information to give a better answer...
