Remove radio

(1990 Dodge D150)

HELP...How do you get the radio out of this truck? I've tried every way but can not figure it out..now I'm flustered..what have I missed? Thank you

you must remove the face plate from the console on the dashboard, there are a number of screws you must remove and then it will require a bit of wiggling to free the clips on the back of the plate from the dash frame, with the plate out of the way you should see two screws holding the radio in place, remove these and the radio should slide forward freely. on the back of the radio there are two clips you must remove as well as the bolt holding the ground braid and the antenna plug
