Recall Details

Chrysler has recalled certain 1994 Dodge Ram 1500/2500 models because the cinch bar component in the passenger side safety belt buckle assembly may shatter, which can cause the belt to release. The passenger may not be properly restrained, which increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Dealers will replace the cinch bar with a newly designed part.
