Recall 94V212000

Windshield Separates From Body In Collision

Recall Details

The windshield may separate from the vehicle in an accident due to improper primer being applied at time of vehicle assembly. Dealers will remove the windshield and reinstall it using the proper primer free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

Some windshields were installed with improper primer applied, which would make them not adhere properly to the vehicle body. This would result the windshield separating from the vehicle in an accident.

What Should You Do?
