Chrysler Recalls 1994 Dodge Rams Due to Front Suspension Issue

Recall Details

Chrysler has recalled certain 1994 Dodge Ram 1500/2500 models because the front suspension track bar bracket attachment has inadequate fatigue strength and may fail, which could cause front axle vibration. This may result in a loss of steering control, which could lead to an accident. Dealers will install a front suspension track bar bracket reinforcement strut.

THE FRONT SUSPENSION TRACK BAR BRACKET ATTACHMENT HAS INADEQUATE FATIGUE STRENGTH AND CAN FAIL, CAUSING FRONT AXLE VIBRATION.
Consequence
THIS CAN RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy
A FRONT SUSPENSION TRACK BAR BRACKET REINFORCEMENT STRUT WILL BE INSTALLED.
