Chrysler Recalls 1993 Grand Cherokees Due to Loose Brake Pedal

Recall Details

Chrysler has recalled 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokees because the retainer clip that secures the master cylinder input rod to the brake pedal was not installed properly and may become loose. Disengagement of the retainer clip will allow free play in the attachment, which can cause the input rod to separate from the brake pedal. This may result in a complete loss of brake application, increasing the risk of an accident. The retainer clips will be removed and new ones installed.
