Modified Vehicles With Freedman Seat Back Cushions Are Not Secure Under Load

Recall Details

Vehicles modified by Prime-Time Specialty Vehicles equipped with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seat back cushions risk a concern of having the seat backs not being stable during a sudden stop or in an accident. A repair procedure is still under development at the time of this writing, and all repairs will be performed free of charge by your local dealership.

Our Quick Take

For vehicles modified by Prime-Time Specialty Vehicles with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seat back cushions, the seat cushion may not remain locked into place when under load such as when in an accident or during a sudden stop. A seat back that suddenly moves unexpectedly increases risk of occupant injury.

What Should You Do?

Recall repairs on your Ford or Ram truck must be performed by a Ford or Ram dealership, respectively. Prime-Time Specialty Vehicles will notify owners of affected vehicles (the timetable for this notification is not available as of the time of this writing). If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford or Ram dealerships, or contact Prime-Time Speciality Vehicles. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.
