Transmission Fluid Leaks From Transmission Hose

Recall Details

The transmission fluid hose for the continuously variable transmission may have clamps that are not properly secure, resulting in a fluid leak. Dealers will inspect the hose clamps and correct their installation free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The clamps that secure a transmission fluid hose may become loose, resulting in a fluid leak from the continuously variable transmission (CVT). This could result in a fire hazard with transmission fluid contacting hot surfaces, as well as result in the vehicle becoming inoperable.
