Front Seat Belts Do Not Properly Restrain Occupants In A Crash

Recall Details

The front seat belt anchorage assemblies have pretensioner cables that may not be properly crimped. This would keep them from properly restraining occupants in an accident. Dealers will replace the driver and / or passenger side seat belt retractors and pretensioners free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The front seat belts may not be properly assembled and could fail to restrain occupants in an accident. This would result in increased risk of injury.
