Recall 15V248000

Headlight And Parking Light Output Level Exceeds Federal Standards

Recall Details

The parking lights may not dim from their daytime running lamp illumination level to the proper lower level when the headlights are turned on for use. Dealers will update the lighting control unit software free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

When the headlights are turned on, the parking lights may stay illuminated brightly as they do when daytime running lamps are in use. This could exceed the federal standard for lighting from the vehicle, causing visibility issues for oncoming traffic, resulting in a safety hazard.
