Brake Fluid Leaks From Rear Brake Hoses

Recall Details

The rear brake hoses where they meet the brake calipers on the rear wheels may develop a brake fluid leak. Dealers will replace the sealing washers on both rear brake caliper to brake hose joints free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

Brake fluid may begin to leak in the rear brake system where the brake hoses join to the brake calipers. Loss of brake fluid can lead to extended stopping distances, resulting in a crash.
