Accelerator Sticks In Fully Engaged Position

Recall Details

The accelerator pedal pushed downward at a certain angle may cause the pedal to get stuck in the wide open throttle position. This is due to possible interference with the accelerator pedal stopper. Dealers will replace the accelerator pedal stopper with a larger one free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The accelerator pedal may become stuck in the wide open fully engaged position while driving, which would cause uncontrolled acceleration, possibly leading to an accident.
