Drivers Side Seat Mounted Air Bag Wiring Misrouted

Recall Details

The drivers side seat mounted air bag wiring harness may be improperly routed, and as a result may cause the air bag warning light to illuminate. Additionally it may not deploy properly in an accident. Dealers will inspect the wiring and re-route it free of charge as necessary to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The wiring for the drivers side seat mounted air bag may not be positioned properly. This may result in the air bag warning light coming on when adjusting the seat and a failure of the air bag to function as designed in the event of a collision.
