Accelerator Pedal Sticks Behind Floor Mat

Recall Details

The accelerator pedal may stick in vehicles equipped with optional accessory all weather floor mats due to a lack of proper clearance. Owners will be shipped a new set of floor mats to replace the defective ones free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

Vehicles that have optional accessory all weather floor mats installed may be positioned in a way that causes the accelerator pedal to get stuck, causing unintended acceleration.
