Acclerator May Stick From Freezing Throttle Valve

Recall Details

The engine throttle valve may stick due to ice build up. This can cause the accelerator to stick and allow continued acceleration when not desired. Dealers will reprogram the engine control computer to eliminate this condition free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

Ice can build up on the engine throttle valve, resulting in a sticking accelerator pedal. This can cause unintended continued acceleration.
