Chrysler Recalls 2001 Models Due to Transfer Case Issue

Recall Details

Chrysler is recalling certain 2001 Dodge Dakota and Durango models equipped with 4WD because the transfer case may not fully engage when the selector switch is activated. This could allow the transfer case to unexpectedly end up in the neutral position, which may cause the vehicle to roll, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will reprogram the transfer case control module.
