in Algonac, MI on April 12, 2010
I drive a 1989 Lincoln Continental and i need to change the rear brake pads, but there is a circle thing I believe is the master something that will not turn or come out. I need help please. How do you change the rear brakes on my car?

I have a 1994 Continental, had this same problem, it is the piston and on most cars a c-clamp will push it in, but on my car it required a "special caliper piston tool" that twists the piston in to gain enough room to install new pads. I was able to borrow it from an auto parts store with a refundable deposit, probably the same deal on your car:)
