My cadillac SRX began shaking and the mechanic said that the front and rear differential were leaking.
rear differential axle leak.
Was told by the dealer to watch it, which I did.
I also asked dealer (at each oil change) if it should be repaired. Was told not yet.

I also asked dealer (at each oil change) if it should be repaired. Was told not yet. I trusted my dealer.
Now that the 5 yr warranty is over, they say I should fix it.
Seems very unfair to me.
Not Fixed. Grinding, tapping, growling noise at acceleration. Told that front and rear differentials are bad. Quoted from $4,000 to $8,000 for both
Not fixed. Told I need front and rear differentials. Seal is leaking. Nice car but my mechanic said to sell it. Thumps and grinds when taking off to make a right or left turn. Slowly getting worse. He said it was very costly to fix and dangerous to drive.....
