Rear air ride suspension

(2001 Ford Expedition)
in Charleston, SC on December 28, 2010
Our expedition has air ride suspension. In the morning our Expedition was squatting or the air bag suspension was deflated. It use to self adjust its self from time to time just sitting in the driveway. Once you cranked it up the suspension came up to normal height

There are multiple areas for failure on the rear air suspension of Expeditions. The air suspension compressor can have a failure, ride height sensor on the rear is also a very common culprit, i would recommend having a diagnostic run on the air suspension, as the compressor can be fairly expensive, and wouldn't wanna guess at what's causing the concern
