Rad cooling fan doesnt come on. on 1995 Ford Escort

I removed and checkede fan motor; it works. I removed and checked thermostat; it works. I exchanged 40 amp fuse with another one; didnt make any difference. I was told that there is a large relay box with the letter Q on it some where on the inner fender well but I cannot locate it. Any suggestions? Where is the Relay box located? Thank you for responding..

You have a high and low speed fan control relay, located in a single bracket inside the left front (drivers side) fender apron. You must remove the air cleaner box to access them. Keep in mind you could have a failed cooling fan motor too. Good luck!

I recently purchased a 91 escort lx for my daughter. Its having the same fan issues as this other person was having. ran electrical to fan straight from battery, it works. seems to be missing the ac fan relay...think it was swapped out. Also the mechanic had replaced a relay on the firewall with still, no luck. Is there something else between the relays that could be bad? faulty wires? etc? also, as you mentioned in your post high/low relays? cant find them.

The relay is actually inside the Constant Control Relay Module, It has controls for the A/C clutch, A/C cooling fan, this caused the fan to run anytime the A/C is operating irespective of eng temp. It also controls the eng idle speed when stopped with a/c on so the car won't bog down and die. On my car it is located under the airfilter canister. Remove the Air cleaner filter and the canister it fit into and you'll see the ccrm mounted on a plate directly underneeth. Hope this helped

Find the source of the problem? If not I had the exact same problem and can share how I fixed it.
