Rack and pionion replaced few years ago. Power stearing pump, water pump, timing belt, alternater & dual fans replaced 1-2 year ago. Started hesitating when turning left at times-slwo speed. Is this realated to rack & pinion.

Could be an internal problem in the rack , or a pressure related problem in the system ,maybe due to the pump. Is the rack out of warranty? Maybe the leak is covered? IF it is , then the rack is replaced and if the binding on left turns goes away , you will know that was the cause , otherwise , it has been eliminated as a cause and normal troubleshooting begins....

Sounds like a steering shaft joint that's binding. It's not uncommon for premature rack failures (leaks like in your case) with remanufactured racks. The tight feeling your getting could be the track our something else it sounds like a steering shaft. It will need to be checked out. W would love to check it out for you.
